WSP has appointed Daryl Johnson as a Technical Executive in Queensland’s South Coast Transport Infrastructure team.

Regional Director for Queensland, Gerard Ryan, said Mr Johnson’s international planning, design and delivery experience coupled with his involvement in iconic Queensland projects, was a major advantage to our team and our clients.


‘Daryl will play an important role in strengthening our capability to deliver infrastructure projects to the highest quality and client satisfaction standards at this time of rapid growth in the Gold Coast region.


‘With over 25 years’ experience, Daryl has led major Australian and international transport infrastructure projects. His understanding of the challenges that impact whole communities drives delivery of solutions that will improve resilience for today and tomorrow. As program manager, he worked closely with TMR to see the South Coast Region’s 2011 to 2013 flood reconstruction program through to successful completion.’


‘Other notable experience includes project managing the Centenary Motorway Planning Study, the preliminary design for the Northern Busway at Fitzgibbon and managing the civil design aspects of Brisbane’s proposed Cross River Rail,’ said Mr Ryan.


Mr Johnson has a Bachelor of Science (Engineering), is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and is a Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ).
