WSP of Transport, Charlie Jewkes, highlighted Mr Rimmer’s synergy with business growth in the west.
‘Alan is a senior leader, with solid experience in developing and improving performance in technical consultancy businesses.
‘His emphasis is on competitive commercial offerings, improved work winning strategies and cultural change.
‘Alan has been leading businesses in WA since 2008 and been involved in major transport projects, such as the Warramboo North West Coastal Highway Realignment project, Great Northern Highway Upgrade - Programme Alliance and the Perth Airport Expansion.
‘His experience in in the United Kingdom, leading partnering contracts and major development proposals, will also be an asset to our team,’ said Mr Jewkes.
Mr Rimmer has over 30 years’ infrastructure experience, working in both the public and private sectors across the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.
Mr Rimmer commented on his new role:

Mr Rimmer starts on 7 November 2016 and is based in Perth. He takes over the role from Phil Nicholls, who will transfer to our Sydney office in the New Year.
