This endorsement comes from the Great Place to Work® Institute, a global organisation that helps firms assess and develop great workplaces that deliver outstanding business performance. We join a small percentage of Fortune 500 companies that have achieved this certification, including Accenture, Hilton, Mars and GSK, to name a few.
This certification validates our Guiding Principles and demonstrates that our employees overwhelmingly trust the people they work for, have pride in what they do and enjoy the people they work with.
Our shared purpose to deliver an equitable, resilient and competitive workplace where we can all thrive, is key to continuing to engage you. We are in a privileged position to work with clients to tackle complex problems that shape the communities of tomorrow. Increased urbanisation/densification, demographic shifts, climate change, and automation and technology, all demand fresh perspectives, great ideas and new thinking. They also require increased trust and collaboration across industry, government, communities and with each other.
This is the second time WSP has participated in the Great Place to Work Employee Survey. This year, 80 per cent of our people responded and shared their anonymous feedback about WSP’s working environment and culture. Our engagement has increased considerably since the survey in 2015, and we also scored above average on the key attributes of trust, pride and collaboration.
Congratulations to all staff in the ANZ region for embodying the culture, vision and soul of WSP, and for contributing to our business being a great place to work.
