o date, her time with the business has been a vast learning experience. She says “I’ve already worked on two major road projects in my two years. Both projects have been joint ventures, working with different partners.
I have had the opportunity to work with some great people on these projects, and I’ve experienced how different people in the joint venture partnerships collaborate to achieve communal goals. Above all else, the projects are making a huge difference to their respective communities by making our roads safer and saving lives.”
Nell joined WSP as a highly accomplished graduate, winning the University Medal for topping her class in Civil Engineering with Architecture at UNSW.
Nell has a keen thirst for adventure, she says “Travelling and getting out of my comfort zone is one of the best learning experiences I have had. I recently travelled to Japan and learnt about their culture and history that I previously knew little about.
I believe my love of travel has helped me to become more independent, helped me to establish important life skills and also instilled me with a greater sense of self-confidence.”
