Last month, WSP's Newcastle office entered a team in 'Evolution SurfAid Cup' at Surfest. Our team of surfers were bundled out in the heats but had lots of fun in the process.

Our dedicated colleagues, driven and led by Andrew Farquharson, were able to raise just under $2,000 which helped Surfaid raise over $42,000 overall.
The money raised this year will help provide clean water, access to basic health care, and improved nutrition in some of the most remote and vulnerable communities in Indonesia. The latest Indonesian statistics show that every three hours, a mother dies during childbirth, while every hour 20 babies die. Only 30% of city residents have access to clean water, this drops to 10% in villages.
Well done to the team and everyone who supported them. For more information on SurfAid click here.
