Mr Young will work with both our Property & Buildings and Transport teams locally and focus on the interfaces and synergies between urban development and mass transit nodes to optimise land use and mobility for the end user.
With almost 20 years of experience, Mr Young’s international skillset envelopes a unique blend of both rail and urban development.
Having joined WSP in 2003, Mr Young moved to our Dubai office from Sydney in 2008. For more than a decade, he was responsible for our operations in the Middle East and Northern Africa holding various roles including Technical Director – Head of Rail, Head of Transport and Infrastructure – Business Development, and more recently as Head of Urban Development.
During this time, Mr Young was involved in key projects including the Dubai Rail Master Plan and the Dubai Metro Route 2020.
