Mr Young will work with both our Property & Buildings and Transport teams locally and focus on the interfaces and synergies between urban development and mass transit nodes to optimise land use and mobility for the end user.

With almost 20 years of experience, Mr Young’s international skillset envelopes a unique blend of both rail and urban development.

Having joined WSP in 2003, Mr Young moved to our Dubai office from Sydney in 2008. Commenting on the appointment, Wayne Bretherton, WSP’s Director of Property & Buildings for ANZ says, “Brendan is a strategic thinker with a track record in achieving both client and business objectives in major projects. By bringing him on board locally, we have grown our capability in urban development, which in turn will help us realise our sustainable vision of creating vibrant, connected and thriving communities.”

Charlie Jewkes, WSP’s Director of Transport for ANZ adds, “We are thrilled to have Brendan join the team. His relocation is a fantastic acquisition for our local business and reflects the power of our cross-sector collaboration and international agility. Having someone of his calibre in a strategic field of growth is a great result, which will help us build on what has already been a positive start to 2018.”
