Strengthening Our Rail Team to Benefit Modern, Sustainable Communities

Recognised as an enabler of economic growth, the rail industry is working closely with the public and private sectors to provide our cities with a transport backbone to benefit modern, sustainable communities.

As a key player in the sector, WSP is broadening its support to clients and our communities by providing truly integrated solutions to the development of our transport systems, through the use of rail technology and investment in the development of our people. Most recently, Jamie Mullins joined WSP as Rail Market Leader for Queensland.

Jansen Stewart, National Client Director of Rail says, “Jamie will play an integral role in supporting our clients on their project journeys. Jamie is a broad thinker who advocates a whole-of-life approach to create real value for rail operators and our communities.”

Leveraging her experience within senior planning and development roles at the Public Transport Authority in Western Australia, Jamie says, “I understand the internal and external drivers and pressures our clients face. With this knowledge, I can prepare our team to respond and assist in a way that really matters to our clients.”

Jansen continues, “Being a client-centric business means our focus is on creating successful outcomes and positive experiences for our clients by ensuring that they are at the centre of our planning, operations and ideas. By extension, our solutions need to benefit the communities that are our ultimate clients.”

Jamie adds, “Having progressed from heavy road infrastructure to light rail and now heavy rail, I can appreciate that rail is one part of a bigger, complementary transport system. I hope to help our clients move towards a more integrated approach so that our communities benefit from improved performance and economic competitiveness.”

WSP’s continued investment in growing our key client service teams enables us to provide our clients with a whole-of-network perspective to the performance of their assets, whether they be asset owners, operators or regulators.
