Guy says, “It’s very easy to walk by and not feel that you’re fully empowered to address issues that you see. I encourage our people to have the courage to call out situations that put the safety of our staff or community at risk. Being proactive is the key to an engrained safety culture.”
Health and Wellbeing
Beyond physical safety, importantly, we strive to improve the health, wellbeing and mindfulness of our people particularly as our workforce expands and diversifies.

Something we can all do is look out for our colleagues – think about their mood and pay attention to any warning signs that may indicate they are struggling. It’s tremendously powerful to reach out and ask how people are going. The act of reaching out and showing compassion to our colleagues is part of what makes WSP special.”
Globally, WSP holds ourselves accountable for future generations and has committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) emissions by >5% by 2021. With air travel being the biggest contributor of GHG emissions, we are asking our people to think twice before getting on a plane and reducing overall travel. In addition, we will be upgrading our corporate car fleet to hybrid or electric powered vehicles.
