WSP Cited as an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality

Last week, WSP was recognised by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) as a 2018-19 WGEA Employer of Choice for Gender Equality.

WGEA’s Employer of Choice citation aims to encourage, recognise and promote active commitment to achieving gender equality in Australian workplaces. Featured for the first time, WSP is one of 141 firms awarded the citation.

Guy Templeton, WSP President & CEO, ANZ says, “Being recognised for our commitment to gender equality is a proud day for our firm. At WSP, we are committed to promoting the benefits of a balanced workforce and whilst we still have some way to go in achieving gender balance, we have made some significant inroads.”

Mr Templeton believes that the citation reflects the firm’s empowering culture and our commitment to helping our clients achieve better project outcomes. He adds, “We believe that by embracing a diverse and inclusive culture, we are creating a workplace where everyone is encouraged to be themselves and feels safe to do so. Through our commitment to achieve a balanced workplace, we are providing our people with the tools they need to reach their full potential.”
