Advisory Business Expansion to Create a Winning Future for Clients

As part of WSP’s increasing focus on providing our clients with a unique combination of infrastructure expertise and management consulting leadership to help them determine how to best develop assets and deliver services, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Alana Newbrook to the position of General Manager (GM) for Advisory in Australia.

 

Alana is an engaging, client-focused professional with more than 18 years of industry experience and demonstrated leadership, delivering major projects through her effective, consultative style.

 

With extensive depth of knowledge in investment strategy, governance risk, procurement and asset management advising public and private sector clients, Alana is a unique asset to our expanding Advisory business which will continue to sharpen its offering for clients across the markets of Property and Buildings, Transport and Infrastructure, Environment, Water Resources, Industry and Energy, Digital.

 

Having commenced in the role on 13 January 2020, Alana now leads a team of 220 professionals delivering strategic advice for clients across the whole project lifecycle, providing local understanding of each market, while offering international benchmarks and solutions through our extensive global network.

Examples of recent work include technical and transport advisory services for Transport for NSW’s Sydney to Newcastle Strategic Business Case and the Newcastle to Port Macquarie Pre-Feasibility Study which supports Fast Rail in exploring options for the Northern Corridor. WSP is also advising on signature projects across Australia including the Special Activation Precincts (SAPs) identified by the NSW Government which aim to fuel economic development in regional NSW and boost competitive advantage for growing communities.
