Supporting a Sustainable Water Future for Victoria and Tasmania

We’re pleased to welcome Richard Neale as Section Executive for Water, to support our water utility clients in Victoria and Tasmania, in delivering a sustainable water future for their thriving communities.

Victoria is the fastest growing state in Australia, underpinned by extensive development in Melbourne’s inner city and outer suburban growth areas, together with expansion of Victoria’s major regional centres. With key drivers from climate change, drought, bushfires, densification and population growth, there is increasing pressure to secure a resilient water future for Victorians and Tasmanians.

With a passion for enhancing the liveability and enriching the quality of life for communities driving him to work in the water sector, Richard brings 20 years’ experience in the water industry, both in the UK and Victoria. He thrives in working collaboratively with clients, to help solve their key water issues & challenges and to facilitate delivery of mutually successful outcomes, exceeding client expectations.

“By adopting Future Ready approaches, appropriately harnessing new technologies and working in a highly collaborative manner, we can help our clients achieve enhanced outcomes, and thereby play an important role in improving liveability in our local communities, as well as safe-guarding water security and the environment for future generations,” says Richard.

Dean Toomey, Director of Water adds, “Richard’s expertise in leadership, strategy, project delivery, business development and client relationship management will assist our clients in rethinking how we contribute to the region’s health and water security for future generations.
