WSP is pleased to build on a long-standing client relationship with the Toronto Zoo, by offering innovative solutions from our WSP Smart™ cross-matrix expertise and partnering with external zoo specialists.
The project will involve delivery of a five-year Technology Transformation and Innovation Master Plan (TTIMP) and a 10-year Technology Innovation strategic plan. It will include expertise across multiple business lines, including Infrastructure, Transportation, Environment and WSP Smart™ with Future Ready research to improve the plan.
Our WSP Smart™ approach will consider all aspects of emerging technology to benefit the animals in the Toronto Zoo’s care, to improve guest experience and our Future Ready® research will enable the delivery of more sustainable operations with a reduced environmental impact.
WSP Smart™ went above and beyond the request for proposal criteria and presented creative, market-leading ideas that will advance the Zoo’s use of technology, modernize communication networks, provide the opportunity for digital asset and data management, delivering more efficiencies and enhanced experience for delivery of services by staff, to serve the animals and guests.
WSP’s proposal team took a COVID Caring approach to streamline financial costs amidst a challenging market and continuing uncertainty.
“The Toronto Zoo is a world-renowned organization, and we are so proud to assist them as they care for the animals with excellence and to enable delivery of an enriching and educational experience for guests,” said Lucy Casacia, Vice-President of Smart Solutions. “We are looking forward to co-creation of truly intelligent, collaborative, outside-the-box solutions that meet client needs and create an unforgettable experience for visitors.”
