PROJECT CASE STUDIES

Communications Management Dashboard (CMD)

With numerous infrastructure projects underway in the City of Toronto, many residents are feeling the impacts. Using PRIME, governing administrations like the City of Toronto use our ability to assess the impacts of city-wide construction, quickly identifying areas of concern, address them and deliver better solutions to the client. WSP is strengthening public communication in the age of infrastructure renewal.

Bike Share Networks

PRIME for Cities was the platform behind Bike Share Toronto’s Expansion Feasibility Study, a multi-award-winning project. Using the latest data on existing and proposed residential and non-residential development to be superimposed with numerous other geo-spatial data sets within the study area, WSP determined existing areas of high Bike Share potential, as well as identify areas that could become suitable in the future. Understanding Development Trends in the GGH

The Greater Golden Horseshoe hosts a dynamic housing market which has experienced rapid and dynamic growth over the last decade. Using WSP’s PRIME for Cities platform, our team is able to assess residential development trends to understand this demand in different ways and maintain a pulse on fast-changing housing market demands to assist developers and municipalities with residential land development across Canada.

PRIME is currently available in Ontario, but is scalable to other geographies as well. Leading public and private sector organizations in the province have already come to rely on its industry-leading intelligence. To date, WSP has tracked over 14,000 real estate development projects and 5,500 growth-related infrastructure and policy initiatives in PRIME. Each month, we add or update over 1,000 developments and nearly 400 infrastructure and policy initiatives. This allows WSP to be constantly aware of all relevant planning and development activity in any monitored area of interest.
