Adam and his team take a pragmatic approach to mobility and accessibility and stand firm that people and place are at the centre of the solutions they offer to clients; from local authorities to owners of major asset portfolios. For him, inclusivity is at the core of WSPs Future Mobility approach and he has played a key role in developing ways to formalise inclusion as a key factor in the solutions the team delivers.
By using socio-economic data from a variety of sources to build a deep understanding of how users interact with services and spaces now and how they will in future, Adam and his team can provide their clients with recommendations that are specific to the local population and ensure maximum benefits for all.
Adam is grateful to be part of a forward-thinking team who spearhead this approach and can see how his own personal insights and way of looking at the world has helped shape their solutions too.
Ensuring that his projects are human-centred, design-led and genuinely inclusive has benefits greater than social ones. By integrating Future Ready thinking into everything they do, Adam and the team can clearly measure the environmental ones too and is positive that as an industry we can achieve net zero targets.
WSP has given Adam the opportunity to help shape a team at the forefront of Future Mobility thinking and is proud of the solutions he has been part of so far which put the needs of individuals, however broad, at the heart of what they do.
