The business will remain on the framework for the next four years - until 2021 - and will be part of the building construction related service and the transport and civil engineering service sections.
The North East Procurement Organisation was established more than 30 years ago, in 1976 and supports the region to undertake procurement in major strategic areas in conjunction with north east local authorities and a range of associate members.
Latest figures indicate that the north east economy is worth £50bn annually and WSP as part of the NEPO Framework aims to support this budding economy by acting as a centre of expertise for the region’s procurement profession and delivery of financial savings to the public sector.

This framework is available for use by local authorities, government bodies (and their Agencies), emergency services including coastguard services, educational establishments, NHS bodies, public bodies, registered charities and registered social landlords.
