WSP acquires Wirthensohn in Switzerland

WSP has acquired Wirthensohn, an engineering firm based in Luzern, Switzerland on May 31, 2017. The firm’s 60 years’ experience brings a strong boost to our current team in the country.

WSP has already worked for many global clients in Switzerland, such as J.P. Morgan, HSBC, Credit Suisse, Ionbond and Hermès. While projects were previously made possible by our France, Germany and UK offices, additionally we will now have local experts.

Wirthensohn is recognized for its expertise in building technology (heating, cooling, ventilation, air conditioning ), building automation (BMS), MEP coordination, energy optimization and efficiency consultancy, as well as technical and environmental due diligence. The firm has been focusing on Property and Buildings (hospitals, hotels, retail, offices, schools, datacentres, etc.) and Industry (for example aerospace and defense), two sectors in which WSP already has deep worldwide expertise.
