The Dubai Mall has currently undergone a massive expansion to cater for its 100 million annual visitors, the construction area of the expansion is approximately 275,308 sqm and extends the existing Fashion Avenue into one of the largest fashion retail areas in the world.
Fashion Avenue brings hotel style 5-star service to its shopping experience and adds more than 200 luxury brands to its existing portfolio.

The Fashion Avenue is adding a retail inventory of an additional 190 plus new high-end outlets including a 5,000 sqm flagship perfumery store and some of the most renowned international brand names such as Gucci, Prada, Rolex, Bottega Veneta, Dolce & Gabbana and Hermes, which all occupy an anchor store in the main entrance of the mall.
WSP acted as the lead consultant and architect of record for this project, heading up all design and supervision services.
WSP provided all engineering services for the project and appointed renowned international consultants like DP Architects, Cracknell, CD+M and Walker Parking Consultants to provide specialist architectural, interior design, landscaping, specialist lighting and parking design services.
The design team achieved all 10 design stage milestones and reduced the overall original design program by 55 days.
The piling and sub-structure packages were then delivered early to align with the enabling works.
