WSP in Hong Kong was recognised for its donation to the Future Stars – Upward Mobility Scholarship programme at an awards ceremony in December. A certificate of appreciation was presented by Chief Secretary of Administration for HKSAR, Mr. Matthew Cheung Kin-Chung, who is also the Chairperson for Commission on Poverty. This donation will go towards supporting two Form Six student beneficiaries.

Pioneered by the Commission of Poverty and coordinated by the Hong Kong Council of Social Services, this scholarship programme aims to encourage young persons from less privileged backgrounds and boost their ability to move upwards socially.

WSP has been an active driver of corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives that impact local communities and the built environment around us. This year, the corporate volunteer team in Hong Kong celebrates its 10th anniversary and currently has over 100 active serving members.
