Operational Excellence


Our offices consumed approximately 153 million kilowatt-hours of energy, equivalent to the energy used by 5,200 average homes.


Our offices used approximately 539 million litres of water, equivalent to 215 Olympic swimming pools.


Our offices sent approximately 2,100 metric tonnes of waste to landfill and diverted 700 metric tonnes through recycling, composting, reuse and recovery.


WSP’s operations emitted approximately 83,600 tonnes of GHG emissions. By 2025, our UK operations have pledged to become carbon neutral. More regions plan to follow suit.

Community Innovation Contest

WSP’s Canadian operations launched a Community Innovation Contest which offered six grants of $25,000 to winning employees with bold, creative ideas for innovating in their communities. 

Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day

WSP Sweden opened its doors to close to 100 girls during the annual ‘Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day’, an event focused on exposing young girls to the engineering and technology fields.

Helping Hands

80 Australian WSP graduates took on the unique challenge of assembling 16 prosthetic hands for amputee landmine victims as part of the Helping Hands program.
