On 30 June 2018, WSP Korea participated in the annual celebration of the 151st Canada Day, an event complete with alfresco barbeque, DJ set, bagpipes performance and a myriad of fun activities including a photo wall.

Since the forming of the country on 1 July 1867, Canadians around the globe have been honoring their culture, history and achievements every year with a vast array of events from concerts and fireworks to carnivals and barbecues.

As a proud Canadian-based company, WSP was delighted to sponsor this year’s Canada Day 151 with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Korea. The event drew more than 350 participants from the Canadian business and social community in Korea, in a way to celebrate Canadian culture and the country’s birthday.

“Canada Day is an iconic annual event for Canadians living and working in Korea. Through active participation, WSP Korea can keep in touch with our Canadian community, while also bonding with our potential clients and investors,” said SuBin Jung, Director of Marketing & Communications for WSP Korea.
