Seven new buildings in the London centre

Southbank Place is a complex construction project for seven new buildings, opposite the Palace of Westminster in London surrounding the existing Shell Centre. The project, comprising of mixed-use development with offices, apartments and retail space, has total value of £1,3 MLD. One of the buildings will be used as headquarters of Shell UK.

International collaboration

The structural team at WSP in Poland is involved in BIM coordination and calculations for one of the buildings, from the drawings' preparation phase to building permit stage. The 18-storeys building, for which we are responsible, has an area of over 40,000 m². The team works closely with WSP UK engineers in London, as well as other project team members, including investor, architect of the above structure and the underground part designer from Canada.
