From our local beginnings over 130 years ago to our vast international presence today, WSP has enjoyed continuous growth and enrichment of its service offering. Every milestone reached has enabled us to better fulfill our purpose of preparing our communities and environment for the future.

WSP Today

WSP is a globally recognized professional services firm employing approximately 43,600 people.

We welcomed 5,000 experts from ten different acquisitions in 2017, adding to existing expertise in all our operating regions. The largest team to join us was Opus International Consultants Limited, a 3,000-employee professional services firm headquartered in New Zealand, with additional offices in Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States.

A major highlight of the year was our corporate rebrand: we became WSP across all our businesses in all geographic regions.

Our story in Poland

WSP has been operating in Poland since 1999, with headquarters in Warsaw. In 2000 WSP Enviro Sp. z o.o. was established, under the authority of WSP Environmental Ltd. In 2015 the companies merged and since then we have been operating under one name WSP Polska Sp. z o.o. and now we employee more than 100 engineers and consultants. The growth of WSP in Poland has been possible thanks to a significant increase of multidisciplinary projects in our local market but also and mainly because of our international agility as a company. Our employees in Poland collaborate with our colleagues globally, being active on projects in the Middle East, UK, Sweden, Germany, France and Norway.

Over the last 4 years, we consequently opened 2 new divisions in Poland: Structural Engineering and Bridges which now allows us to provide full service to our clients within the Building sector (Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Sustainability) as well as Environmental services.  Since registering the first green certification project in Poland in 2009 we offer our sustainability expertise as an integrated service to any building design, which spans from buildings' design consulting and BREEAM/LEED certification, advice on energy efficiency and renewable energy to sustainability reporting and corporate social responsibility strategies.
