The challenge of finding solutions to problems that can sometimes seem impossible is one of the things Patrik Lidgren enjoys most in his job. Patrik Lidgren has worked at several different companies in the industry but after more than ten years at WSP, Patrik has settled down.
- There is an open and solution-oriented culture at WSP that creates very good collaboration between departments and business areas. Everyone simply wants to do a good job and it makes for a very creative environment.
As a task leader for tunnel projects, he is faced with various challenges.
- The Slussen's new bus terminal is among the most complex we have built in Sweden. There is a lot of existing infrastructure that we need to adapt to, such as the metro, properties and surrounding businesses.
At WSP, Patrik has had various roles and tasks. He started at Citybanan where he was responsible for the constructions that connect to the existing metro at Stockholm City station.
- I feel very proud that Citybanan worked out well. The project represents in a good way what we often work with within WSP; namely to create something lasting - a better city.
Since Patrik thrives so well at WSP, there is no reason to change workplace, he says.
- Throughout my time at the company, I have developed and taken on more responsibility. I look forward to continuing to be involved in large consulting assignments, where I see that WSP has great opportunities to continue to be a leader in the industry.
