Guangzhou One Link Walk

Situated on prime location at the intersection of TiYu Dong Road and Tian He Road in the central business district of Guangzhou, the One Link Walk development provides more than 382,000 square feet (35,490 square meters) gross floor area of luxury residential and commercial facilities.

Project elements include: a 50-story office building in Block A; a 31-story residential building in Block B; a 35-story residential building in Block C; a five-level commercial/retail area; and a two-level underground car park.

WSP served as the project and construction manager for an international financial group that purchased the 35-story residential Block C, to convert into five-star service apartments. Prior to the award of this contract, WSP conducted a due diligence study on the existing building, which included a desktop study of statutory submissions, permits and approval documents; visual site inspection of existing conditions of building fabrics; and preliminary cost estimates of defect rectifications. Under a separate contract, WSP served as the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing/drainage consultant for the entire development.
