On future rail and transit trends, Er. Cheryl Lee said, “The life cycle of rail projects will outlive us. Therefore, long-term sustainability and the adaptability of the infrastructure are critical aspects to the future of rail. What we do now, will impact the future.”

She added, “This pandemic is an important lesson of adaptability and resilience for our sector. We must be Future Ready in our design and construction approach for rail and transit infrastructure projects to mitigate risks in future pandemic or disaster. This will enable our vision of sustainability and adaptability.”
