Corey Jurcak has been named a supervising water engineer in the Seattle office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.


In his new position, Mr. Jurcak will manage water, sewer, and storm water projects in the Puget Sound region. Some of the firm’s recent projects in the area include the Seattle waterfront redevelopment and the Willamette River Combined Sewer Overflow Tunnel Program.

Mr. Jurcak has 20 years of experience in storm water management, utility systems management, and transportation engineering, focusing primarily on infrastructure planning and delivery of utility and transportation capital improvements. Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, he served as capital projects engineering manager for the City of Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) responsible for transportation, storm water management/drainage, and utility engineering and design. At SDOT, he was an instrumental member of the interdepartmental team tasked to develop and execute the 2009 and 2016 City of Seattle storm water code update to meet city, state and federal clean water goals.

A licensed professional engineer in Washington, Mr. Jurcak received a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Santa Clara University. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
