Nicholas P. Mitrakis has been named corporate controller of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.


In his new position, Mr. Mitrakis, who will be based in the firm’s New York City office, will be responsible for managing the finance and general accounting department of the firm’s U.S. and Latin America region.

Mr. Mitrakis has more than 17 years of experience in corporate finance and operations. Before joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was chief financial officer and chief operating officer at K2 Partnering Solutions Ltd, a global professional information technology services firm based in London with 1,300 employees in 15 countries. In this role, he was responsible for finance and operations in Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia. Prior to K2 he was chief financial officer of the Americas region and head of global transformation and corporate development at Michael Page International, a global professional recruitment services firm with 5,800 employees in 36 countries.

He brings to our team a well-blended mix of expertise in finance, operations and business transformation, working cross functionally and across regions.”

Mr. Mitrakis earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and international business from Fordham University and an executive certificate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Among his professional affiliations, he is a member of Financial Executives International and the CFO Leadership Group.
