In his new position, Mr. Talati will be responsible for developing and implementing business development strategy for transportation and infrastructure projects and managing client relationship efforts for the firm’s Texas-Mountain region, which includes the states of Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Texas, Utah and Wyoming.
Some of the firm’s recent projects in the region include the Dallas Horseshoe Project; the DFW Connector in Dallas-Fort Worth; the U.S. 183 South reconstruction project in Austin; the South Mountain Freeway in Phoenix; the expansion of the Valley Metro light rail in Phoenix and Mesa; the Hill Field Road Bridge reconstruction in Layton, Utah; and the I-70 Veterans Memorial Tunnels in Colorado.
Mr. Talati, who will be based in the firm’s Dallas office, has considerable experience in infrastructure sales as well as planning, designing and managing highway and infrastructure projects throughout Texas. Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was responsible for infrastructure sales for the Austin and San Antonio offices of an international engineering organization. He also led a regional sales team across the Central U.S. that developed growth strategies, implemented client-focused sales strategies, and led major pursuits.
A licensed professional engineer in Texas, Mr. Talati received a B.S. in civil engineering from Texas Tech University. His professional affiliations include American Council of Engineering Companies and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
