In his new position, Mr. Pouliot, who will be based in the firm’s Denver office, will manage civil engineering projects, including transportation technology (connected vehicles), innovative intersection and interchange design, transportation planning, environmental planning, roadway and traffic engineering. He will also lead the Colorado civil engineering team and provide guidance in the development of staff.
Mr. Pouliot has 25 years of engineering experience focused on delivering innovative, sustainable, and contextual solutions to communities throughout the Western United States. His areas of expertise include traffic engineering and traffic operations, conceptual design of interchanges and intersections, diverging diamond interchanges, and management of large-scale projects. Prior to joining WSP, Mr. Pouliot was manager of engineering for the Denver office of a national consulting firm.
A licensed professional engineer in Colorado, Mr. Pouliot received an M.S. degree in transportation engineering and a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Wyoming. He is a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers.
