In her new position, Ms. Scarbrough, who will be based in the firm’s Charlotte, North Carolina office, will guide, develop and integrate human resources strategies for the firm’s transportation and infrastructure sector in the U.S. Her responsibilities include organizational development, talent engagement and retention, employee relations and communication, performance management and internal employee communications. She will manage a team of human resources professionals and coach department leaders with a focus on driving and managing change.
A human resources professional with more than 20 years of experience, Ms. Scarbrough's capabilities include strategic and workforce planning, human resources policy, restructuring initiatives, process reengineering, mergers and acquisitions, and employee engagement and relations. She joins WSP from a global professional services firm, where she was senior director of talent acquisition.
Ms. Scarbrough received a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Roberts Wesleyan College. Among her professional affiliations, she is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management. Her community engagement activities include participation in her local church.
