Richard Tetreault will manage engineering activities throughout Northern New England as a new area manager at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.


In his new position, Mr. Tetreault will be responsible for managing WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff operations in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. He will be based in the firm’s Manchester, New Hampshire office.

Mr. Tetreault comes to WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff after a 32-year career with the Vermont Agency of Transportation, most recently serving as deputy secretary. While at the agency, he held such senior positions as director of program development/highways, chief engineer, and district transportation administrator.

Some of the firm’s recent projects in New England include the I-93 Widening Project from Salem to Manchester, New Hampshire; ABC Bridge Replacement Projects, Lincoln and New Haven, Vermont; Sibley Pond Design-Build Bridge Replacement Project, Pittsfield, Maine; Bridge #1 Rehabilitation at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, Maine; Memorial Bridge Replacement, Portsmouth, New Hampshire; Broad Street Parkway, Nashua, New Hampshire; Western Corridor Railroad Improvements, Rutland, Vermont; Route 1 Streetscape Improvements, Ogunquit, Maine.

Mr. Tetreault received a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Vermont and is a licensed professional engineer in Vermont.
