Michelle Winkelmann is named a senior supervising engineer in the Lincoln, Nebraska office of WSP USA, formerly WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff.


In her new position, Ms. Winkelmann will be responsible for planning, design, maintenance of traffic, plan preparation, and construction cost estimates for transportation and public works infrastructure projects throughout Nebraska. She has over 20 years of professional experience managing highway and roadway projects. She most recently served as consultant project manager for an interchange improvement project with the Kansas Department of Transportation. From 1996 to 2015 she was a project manager and senior engineer with WSP.

A licensed professional engineer in Nebraska and Kansas, Ms. Winkelmann received a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and National Society of Professional Engineers.
