The 2017 FAV Summit program assembles industry leaders from around the world to address technologies, operations and policy issues. Topics will include automated, connected, electric and shared (ACES) mobility; operations; law; infrastructure; functional design; cyber security; ethics; aftermarket products; enabling technologies; and public policy. Topics and breakout sessions are centered around ACES mobility.

• Smart Columbus, on Tuesday, November 14th from 1:30 to 3:00, Tom Timcho, principal consultant and CAV deployment expert, will provide an update on the Smart Columbus project as part of a panel focused on connected vehicle issues.
• State and Local DOTs - Keeping Up with the Rapid Evolution of CAV, on Tuesday, November 14th from 3:30 to 4:30, Steve Kuciemba, national intelligent transportation systems practice manager, is a panelist for one of the general sessions. His presentation will address the inevitable variability in capability and maturity levels of different state, county and municipal DOTs when it comes to connected and automated vehicles, and explore lessons learned from agencies around the country that have embraced CAV.
