SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Deborah Dagang has been named district operations manager for Northern California at WSP USA, formerly WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a leading engineering and professional services consultancy.
In her new position, Ms. Dagang, who is based in the firm’s San Francisco office, will mentor, train and develop project managers and staff to improve project delivery and project financials as well as client satisfaction. She will work closely with regional leadership to manage and mitigate project risks, improve quality and help the region meet its financial and operations goals.
Previously, Ms. Dagang was vice president and manager of projects at an international professional consulting and engineering services firm. In that role, she successfully delivered a broad range of multimodal transportation projects, from planning through construction, including extensive planning experience with bus rapid transit (BRT), high-occupancy vehicle, and arterial projects. Most recently, she was the consultant project manager for the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority’s Alum Rock-Santa Clara BRT project.
Ms. Dagang is a registered traffic engineer in California and has M.S. and B.S degrees in civil engineering from Stanford University. She was recently appointed chair of the WTS Foundation for a two-year term. She previously served as vice chair and treasurer. Additionally, Ms. Dagang is the past president of the San Francisco Bay Area chapter of WTS as well as the San Francisco Bay Area section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers.
