NEW ORLEANS, LA—Max Nassar has been named Gulf Coast transportation and infrastructure area manager for WSP USA, formerly WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a leading engineering and professional services consultancy.
Mr. Nassar, who is based in the firm’s New Orleans office, serves as WSP’s senior manager in the region encompassing Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. He is responsible for business development and financial performance, oversees the firm’s local operations and drives successful project delivery across all three states. He supervises the development of a regional business growth strategy aimed at expanding market share and meeting the diverse needs of public and private clients.
Mr. Nassar has more than three decades of experience in the architecture and engineering industry as well as the manufacturing and industrial sector. He has managed infrastructure projects in the Southeastern U.S. and Central America, including highways and bridges, drainage and utilities infrastructure, levees, railways, airport facilities and waterfront projects. He has served as a member of the board of directors for various civic and business entities, and was a member of the Mayor of New Orleans’ Committee for the Acceleration of Project Delivery.
Mr. Nassar holds a bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University. He has served on local, state and national committees related to the environment and infrastructure and is affiliated with major industry organizations.
