Dallas, TX — Nolan Rome has been named leader of the U.S. healthcare practice of WSP, a leading engineering and professional services consultancy.
A senior vice president, Nolan has served on the firm’s property and buildings and healthcare leadership teams for the past several years, and is a co-leader of WSP’s global healthcare practice.
He has led some of the firm’s highest profile health and hospital projects, including for a major surgery and patient tower expansion of Oklahoma University Medical Center and as the senior project manager on an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for NAVFAC as part of a joint venture with HKS. The IDIQ includes a series of projects totaling over $400 million in construction costs. He was also the principal in charge for the Dell Seton Medical Center University of Texas Teaching Hospital and the Dell Children’s Medical Center. Dell Children’s Medical Center was the first healthcare project worldwide to be certified LEED Platinum.

Mr. Rome holds a bachelor’s of science in architectural engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a licensed professional engineer in Texas, Arizona, California and New Mexico, and a LEED AP.
