The Maritime Team Sails Off to Three Major Events

June is packed with trade events in the Maritime sector, and WSP will be in the heart of the action.

June is packed with trade events in the Maritime sector, and WSP will certainly be in the heart of the action. WSP is the Gold Sponsor at the 16th World Conference Cities and Ports in Quebec City, June 11 to 14, and will host the opening reception. That same week, June 12-14 the team will attend TOC Europe in Rotterdam‒booth B90. Then, the team will attend the JOC Canada Trade Conference in Toronto, June 18 to 20.

These events set the stage to network with port officials, container terminal operators, suppliers as well as public and private development stakeholders in port cities. In addition, they provide WSP with large-scale opportunities to showcase its global expertise in the maritime sector. Here is the lineup of our presentations during the three events

Charles Haine, Technical Director, Maritime, will be a co-lead on the panel regarding the environmental solutions for port cities, on June 12 at 2:30 pm.

 

Automation Workshop – Track: TECH TOC

Event: TOC Europe, Rotterdam

Tom Ward, Director US Maritime Planning, will be a speaker in this interactive Masterclass Terminal Automation session, on June 12 at 4:15 pm.

 

Port & Landside Logistics – Track: TECH TOC

Event: TOC Europe, Rotterdam

Tom Ward will also be a speaker in the session about digitalization and process optimization into port operations, on June 13 at 10:30 am.

 

Shipping & Port Watch 2018 - Track: CSC

Event: TOC Europe, Rotterdam

Andrew Penfold, Director, Global Maritime, will be a speaker in the seminar on upcoming trends in the maritime sector, on June 13 at 11:30 am.

 

The European Infrastructure & Investment Forum – Track: CSC

Event: TOC Europe, Rotterdam

Johan-Paul Verschuure, Technical Director, Maritime, will be a speaker in the seminar on the trends European ports are facing, on June 13 at 4 pm.                                          

 

Route Optimization: A Strategic Forum

Event: JOC Canada Trade Conference, Toronto

Andy Penfold, Director of Global Maritime, will model various routing options through western and eastern Canadian ports to and from Asia, European and Latin American markets, on June 19 at 2:30 p.m.
