He leads a diverse team in providing engineering services, such as detailed design and engineering, owner's engineer services, technical advisory services, due diligence, and preliminary design and optimization of project layouts to clients.
Previously, as a project director in the firm’s sustainability practice, Michael focused on renewable energy feasibility studies and due diligence design, as well as the assessment of sustainable, biofuel production pathways. He also worked on renewable energy project design and development; combined-heat-and-power, district-energy planning and engineering; enterprise energy efficiency and management; and corporate renewable energy procurement.
Michael holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering with a specialization in sustainable power generation from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. He is a registered professional engineer in Colorado and a certified Project Management Professional.
