Mike has provided engineering and consulting services for renewable energy project design and development, CHP and district energy planning and engineering, enterprise efficiency and energy management, and corporate renewable energy procurement. He has proven expertise in preliminary engineering design and feasibility assessments for a range of technologies, including solar PV, solar thermal, biomass, wind and cogeneration. An experienced technical analyst, Mike is an expert user of many of the leading software platforms currently used in the industry to conduct technical and financial feasibility and optimization.
Mike manages a team of engineers and technicians providing front-end engineering design and optimization, detailed design for construction, owner’s engineer services, project management, independent engineering and due diligence services to developers, IPPs and utilities who are active globally with wind and solar projects.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Iowa and a master's degree in mechanical engineering, with specialization in sustainable power generation, from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Colorado.
