Chris Nystrom is the director of energy generation and an expert in the planning, design, installation and commissioning of central utility plants and cogeneration systems.

Chris is responsible for project operations and staff management in energy generation. He also provides project management for major heating, cooling, and power plant projects. His combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience enables him to connect the phases of design, construction and operation effectively in planning and delivering projects.

Over a career spanning more than two decades, Chris has worked on energy projects in hospitals, universities, hotels, pharmaceutical centers, airports and power plants. He has extensive experience in providing field services, including field engineering, inspections, estimating, construction management, start-up and commissioning, and field troubleshooting.

Chris holds a bachelor's degree from SUNY Maritime College. He is a licensed professional engineer in New York, and holds additional licenses and certifications from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the state of New Jersey.
