Greg serves as the project manager for the firm’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Housing Inspection Services contract. He brings 40 years of widespread experience, 20 with WSP USA, in program management, operations, emergency management and inspection services.

Greg is responsible for directing efforts to assemble and mobilize a team of inspectors and field operations staff to be deployed in the event of natural disasters or other presidentially declared emergencies. He is currently managing 3,000 + inspectors in response to the three major hurricanes, Harvey, Irma and Maria which have devastated the southern U.S. mainland as well as Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. He also managed WSP operations for Hurricane Sandy, the second-costliest hurricane on record, as well as the overall field operations for Hurricane Katrina, which still stands as the costliest natural disaster in U.S. history.

He also developed the concept to provide inspectors hands-on inspection training at disaster sites through mobile training labs as well as through fixed site inspection development centers. Prior to joining the firm, Greg served as inspection services chief for FEMA. Previously, he also oversaw sixteen volunteer fire organizations as Fire Coordinator for Pulaski County, Kentucky. He was voted by the fire service as Firefighter of the Year.

His strong project management abilities were recognized by WSP USA as the recipient of the firm’s 2012 Project Manager of the Year award for projects greater than $20 million.

His FEMA Project Team has also been awarded WSP’s Project of the year in 2000, Project of the Year Finalist in 2011 and again in 2013. His team was awarded WSP’s prestigious Core Values Award in 2014.
