Mike’s technical expertise spans all aspects of innovative mobility including systems architecture, data center development and consolidation, standards development, communications networks, and data analytics. He works with clients to identify ways technology can be used to enhance overall mission goals while modernizing and making operations more efficient. Mike also leads WSP’s road usage charge practice where he is using transportation innovations and technology to transform state transportation funding models.
He was the smart city and innovation lead for the City of Las Vegas, helping Las Vegas transform into a smart city. He has also supported the City of Portland, the Oregon Department of Transportation, and most recently, the Colorado Department of Transportation in developing innovative programs for advancing connected and automated vehicle initiatives.
Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering management from Regis University. He is a member of the Rocky Mountain chapter of the Project Management Institute and has his project management professional certification.
