To strengthen PFM systems at the national and sub-national levels throughout Nepal, our team of 40 professionals work closely in three interconnected technical areas: developing PFM systems at national and local government levels; improving controls and procurement in the Ministries of Education and Health; and increasing transparency and accountability of post-earthquake reconstruction. 

As part of this $14 million USAID-funded project, the WSP team produced a ground-breaking information technology and business process assessment that catalyzed the government towards an integrated financial management system strategy. WSP also trained over 1,500 local government financial staff on a newly developed, local-level financial management system.
