Wolf Point West Tower

The Wolf Point West Tower is the first of three buildings planned for the prominent site at the fork of the Chicago River – across the river from a past WSP USA project, Riverbend.

A Sleek Tower for Chicago

The sleek 48-story residential tower features long-span post-tensioned slabs that limit the number of columns extending into the Riverwalk arcade at the base of the structure. Outrigger walls at the top floors of the building link perimeter columns to the interior core walls for supplemental lateral load resistance and to keep the overall wall profiles to a minimum. Four-story-deep basements allowed much of the development’s parking spaces to be set below grade and out of sight.
