Recognised as a technical expert in the market, the Technical Executive, will have broad experience, deep and diverse industry relationships and extensive local geotechnical knowledge. This role will provide technical expertise across a wide range of complex projects. Successful candidates will have particular expertise in the delivery of Design and Construct or Alliance contracts.

Do you have specific experience in resources and mining? We are seeking Principal Geotechnical engineers to partner with our mining clients for the investigation and design of: mine infrastructure areas; tailings facilities; haul roads; transport links such as air fields, road and rail infrastructure; and mine optimisation and rehabilitation.

We have vacancies in our Hunter Valley offices; and either Perth, Adelaide or Brisbane.

With expanding opportunities and projects within the transport, water, and power   markets, we are also looking for geotechnical engineers with experience from 2 to 12 years. Join our team as we partner with clients to support their growing portfolio of projects.

Do you have experience designing tunnel structures? With tunnelling projects featuring in the long term transport strategic plans of most of the State Transport Agency’s, we are seeking both senior and principal tunnel structural engineers to meet the demand. Successful candidates will have a strong skill set and familiarity with common methods for structural analysis, and design of primary and secondary lining, and other tunnel structures using relevant codes and standards.

WSP’s Tunnel Systems team is the largest in Australia, responsible for a number of the country’s signature tunnelling projects. We have a number of opportunities for Senior and Principal Fire Life Safety and Tunnel Ventilation engineers to work closely with clients as we meet the demand of our growing cities and communities.

Do you enjoy automation? Does working with data and developing systems and tools excite you? As the Digital Engineering Lead, you will have consulting experience, qualifications in either engineering or information technology, and extensive digital engineering experience.

Based in any of our offices across Australia, you will lead and maintain our digital skills across the Geotechnics and Tunnels team by:

• Assisting our engineers and scientists in managing 3D data, including developing systems and tools for transferring the 3D model into analysis programs, and then presenting the results in a meaningful 3D array.
• Developing verified programs and scripts to automate data input and analysis of output from our commonly used software such as Flac 2D and 3D, Plaxis 2D and 3D, RS2 and RS3, Ansys CFX, FDS, IDA etc.
• Working with the staff who developed our in-house field logging App to provide ongoing support and maintenance
• Being the custodian of the wide-ranging suite of software kept by WSP.
