WSP Associate Lighting Designer, Deepi Naru, said the winning design demonstrated a restrained yet sophisticated execution of lighting design to compliment architecture.
‘The judges recognised that the space has a very unique appeal imparted by the innovative use of light within the faceted ceilings.
‘This imparts a candle-lit appeal for intimate functions and also delivers a space for notetaking and seminars.
‘Our team worked closely with Conrad and Gargett to ensure the lighting system works in unison with the unique space allowing the space to be extremely flexible and adaptable yet easy for the staff to prepare for functions and maintenance staff to maintain,’ concluded Mr Naru.
