WSP General Manager, Power in Australia and New Zealand, Paul Williams said Inder brings a wealth of knowledge to the team and will assist in building a sustainable service offering in the New Zealand region.

 

‘Inder has over 30 years of international experience in high-voltage power transmission and substation projects.

 

‘In particular his experience pertains to the renewable energy sector and significant infrastructure developments in the rail transportation, land development and property markets.

 

‘His technical depth and skills will deliver outstanding value for our clients,’ said Mr Williams.

 

Most recently Mr Rai was client’s Chief Electrical Engineer for the $20B Riyadh Metro Project currently under construction in Saudi Arabia.

 

His significant project experience also includes the Jazan Economic City and the Jeddah Metro Projects, both in Saudi Arabia.

 

Previously, Mr Rai has successfully established and led significant power and energy consulting services in New Zealand, Australia and the Middle East.

 

His experience includes the delivery of high-voltage transmission projects for premier transmission utility companies in New Zealand, Australia, the Middle East and India.
