WSP’s Section Executive for Integrated Transport Planning, Scott Ney, highlighted how our speakers will focus on emerging transport technologies.
'Our transport team is working closely with our clients to adopt and integrate emerging technologies and intelligent transport systems that will safely connect people and places and improve user experience while providing operational efficiencies and commercial benefits.
'For our Smart Work Zones project in Victoria, we are working in partnership with VicRoads to transform the way we manage travel through work zones, by using Intelligent Transport Systems and digital technologies for smarter and safer road networks.
'Lauren Isaac will also present, via video link, from our office in San Francisco, to share her thoughts on how local government can plan for driverless vehicles' concluded Mr Ney.
WSP is proud to be an inaugural member of the AITPM which this year marks its 50th year. The conference provides an opportunity to share developments and advancements in the traffic engineering, transport planning and transport modelling fields.
