WSP's General Manager, Transport Services Richard Boggon said this is a strategic appointment in a period of strong growth for the business.
‘In this role Clive will lead the company’s civil and structural engineering, intelligent transport systems and geospatial information teams through a period of growth, ensuring we continue to deliver value for our clients.

‘Strong leaders, like Clive, with technical expertise and extensive experience are very important,’ Mr Boggon said.
Mr Baker has over 30 years’ experience delivering a range of infrastructure projects and leading large teams in Australia and the United Kingdom.
Most recently he was the Director of Operations for a global consultancy firm and was responsible for major road, rail, maritime, airport and transport planning projects across Victoria.
Mr Baker will be replacing Scot Coleman who has been appointed to lead the firm’s new delivery strategy initiative.
Mr Baker is a Chartered civil engineer, a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a Fellow of Engineers Australia.
He commenced his new role in August 2016 and is based in Melbourne.
