WSP Section Executive for Geotechnics and Tunnels, Doug Graham, highlighted how Mr Ellis's skills and capability will complement the Transport team in Perth, strengthening its client offering.

'Stuart is a senior operator and has led the geotechnical component of major transport projects across Western Australia. He brings with him a strong understanding of local issues and sound relationships with our Western Australian clients.

'Stuart will be responsible for establishing and growing our geotechnical and tunnel capability by leveraging from our current projects and by bringing new work into our business. 

'He has significant experience across various aspects of geotechnical engineering including site investigation and factual/interpretative reporting, project management, tender design, detailed design, site classification, pavement investigation and design, slope stability analysis and work on acid sulfate soils,' concluded Mr Graham.

Mr Ellis commenced on 7 June 2016 and is based in our Perth office.
